A comprehensive service for Legionella control

Legionellosis Risk Assessment: Required by Law

Risk AssessmentA suitable and sufficient assessment is required by law to identify and assess the risk of exposure to legionella bacteria from work activities and water systems on the premises, and should also detail any necessary precautionary measures. The legal obligation to conduct a legionella risk assessment at work is defined under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (COSHH).

At Second Element we have made our reputation by providing detailed and accurate surveys of our client’s water systems, to determine the potential for legionella proliferation and dissemination, and assess the risk of legionellosis.
